Boca Foods...Great Ingredients and Great Information!

I absolutely love Boca Foods. I have been a loyal customer forever. No trans fats, made with delicious grains, veggies and soy – as their website boasts, these patties are good-for-you meets gourmet. I had never really checked out their website until I ran across an ad and linked to it. I was surprised to find so much incredible information on their site about the importance of eating healthy and what our bodies need and why. Please note that all Boca Products contain wheat gluten and none of their foods are currently certified kosher/parever.

I applaud Boca Foods for not only providing consumers with great foods with good ingredients, but also for providing so much great consumer healthy living information as well. Great Job!

Below is a sampling of the concise and valuable info I found on their site.

"You keep up on nutrition, but it still can be puzzling sometimes.

That's why BOCA has put together these tips. You'll learn the facts about common nutrition terms, and find links to information that helps you apply your new knowledge to your "real life" food choices.

Know Your Nutrients
The body needs nutrients from foods and beverages for many vital functions including healthy growth and development, and smooth-running organs and body systems.

There are six types of nutrients: carbohydrates, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals and water. Carbohydrates, protein and fat are called macronutrients because our bodies need them in larger amounts. Vitamins and minerals are called micronutrients because our bodies need them in smaller amounts."

Click on the title above to learn more about each type of nutrient.
