Want to Know Your Green Score?

How green is your scene?
Take the GoGreenScore challenge.

I came across a cool (anything that gets you thinking is cool), quick (took me about 3 minutes) and easy (can you click the dots?) way to see just how green you really are.  Click on the link above to see how far you have walked on the path to green.  My score was "51-60: Mmmm, mmm, looking good in green!"  Although I wish my score was higher, at my age I will take any score that has me looking good in anything.  Click the link above, then come back and let me know how you feel about your score...

  3. Thought my score would be higher ~> 41-50: Now you're getting the green in your routine.

I certainly see some areas for improvement, based on the questionnaire. Thanks for bringing awareness! I will share ♥

  4. Nice to see you here! That score isn't so bad at all. It is kind of amazing how it really opens your eyes to areas you can do better in. Thanks for stopping by and for the comment. ;)

  5. My score was the same as yours 51-60! That was a great way to see where I can improve. thanks!

I think my score should have been higher though....being vegan is the number one thing any individual can do to stop global warming. Latest research now states that the livestock industry contributes at least 50% of all emissions, a far larger amount than the original 18% that was first stated by the UN's IPCC in 2006.

NASA scientist Dr James Hansen has stated that "There are many things that people can do to reduce their carbon emissions, but changing your light bulb and many of the things are much less effective than changing your diet because if you eat further down on the food chain rather than animals, which have produced many greenhouse gases, and used much energy in the process of growing that meat, you can actually make a bigger contribution in that way than just about anything."

  6. I was actually pretty surprised at my score too! It goes to show that we can all do more. There is an Impact Challenge at our Environmental Booty Network that "dares" people to go Vegan for a month...I keep thinking i should try it.
