My dad in the back...always in his wheelchair.
When I came across the following article, I wanted to scream. It really brings up so many awful memories from my Dad getting his Hep-B shot and then a few days later coming by my house telling me he couldn't feel his feet and was having trouble walking.That was almost 10 years ago and the start of an awful awareness that vaccines are not always safe.
My dad got Guillain-Barre Syndrome which usually goes away...in his case, he got the chronic version which
is called CIDP. Now he is in a wheelchair and is always on guard because his paralysis can worsen at any time. It's funny how reading the symptoms online is nothing like living with it.
People are now coming down with Guillain-Barre after getting the Swine Flu vaccine. Oh but the odds are so low of getting sick from it. Let me tell you that in our family, the odds seem pretty significant. Please read the following article and stay informed as you make your decisions whether or not to vaccinate.
