Infertility Could be Linked to Flame Retardant Chemicals called PBDE's...More Reasons to Just Say No to Chemicals in Your Life!

I am telling you people that we are absolutely killing ourselves with chemicals.  Study after study is telling us that chemicals are causing us harm.  Oh but wait, more study is necessary.  Yea right,  if you guys wait until all of  the chemical companies and the awesome organizations like the Environmental Working Group fight it out with their research, you will be taking a chance I am certainly not willing to take.  I live by the precautionary principle!

Now comes word from  that women with higher levels of a common flame retardant chemicals called PBDE's (polybrominated diphenyl ethers) may find it harder to get pregnant than those with lower levels in their system.  You see we all have these PBDE's in our systems but some have more than others.  PBDE's are found in our homes in things like electronics, fabrics, carpets, plastics and other common  items.   Researchers say unsafe PBDE's have been linked to a variety of health problems and now comes this new research about fertility from the Center for Children's Environmental Health Research at the University of California Berkeley School of Public Health..

It took me forever to get pregnant and I suffered so many miscarriages that you would wonder why I kept trying.  I always wondered if it was from something in my environment and now I feel very confident that it was not just one thing in my environment, but a combination of toxins around me.  Luckily, these awful PBDE's are being phased out of new products but they will be in our lives for quite some time before they are gone.

So what should you do?  Use stainless steel pans and bamboo options for your chemical free kitchen.  Look for items made with sustainable Hemp for clothing and household needs.  Stay vigilant and work to reduce chemicals as much as possible in your lives and your children's lives.  Tell anyone who thinks you are over reacting to go to hell and keep your mind open to the possibility that the onslaught of chemicals in our lives are killing us and you can take control and reduce your exposure in as many ways as you can...more on this later.

Do you know that Google does not like it when you leave unrelated links like that? Please feel free to visit and read but please everyone do yourselves a favor and stop leaving unrelated links to the post.

  2. Thanks Eric, but one of the things I do for clients is to help them with their social network marketing and article marketing. I also am doing a good job of accepting quality advertisers into my network.
