Yes, but the effects of aspartame may be different for different people. Because everyone is individual, they react differently to the various chemicals they eat and drink. Your reaction to toxic chemicals depends on how strong your immune system is, what present illnesses you may be for some experiencing, your genetic predispositions, your exposure to environmental toxins, etc. No environmental engineer or nutritionist will tell you that toxic chemicals are safe for some but unsafe for others. Toxins are toxins. Eventually, all toxins adversely affect the delicate bodies of all plants and animals.
