- Slice a just ripe avocado in half, remove the seed, scoop it out and place n a bowl. HINT - The darker the avocado, the more ripe it is and as the avocado is listed as one of the clean 15 by the EWG (Environmental Working Group), this is one place you may want to skimp on organic.
- Add 1/4 teaspoon of: basil and chili powder. HINT - Try using organic spices and seasonings.
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of Jane's Crazy Mixed-Up Salt and Seven Oak's Ranch Organic Southwest Blend Nuggets. HINT - Bring your family back to the table with more of my fast and easy Southwest recipe ideas.
- Add S&P to taste, gently mix together and serve immediately or pop it in the fridge for an hour or so to let the flavors really come out. You can keep your guacamole in the fridge for a couple of days before you use it. HINT - if you are going to refrigerate it for any amount of time, be sure that you squeeze in a little lemon juice, keep the seed in and cover tightly. Otherwise it will turn brown.
