Being an informed consumer is so important when it comes to our health and environmental health but guess what? We need to stay informed about the people who are leading our country as to their environmental views. I just touched base with an old friend, Lisa Wozniak, executive director of the Ann Arbor-based Michigan League of Conservation Voters and it made me realize something I am embarrassed to say I have thought very little about...how our choices in government leaders impact our environment.
