A Message from Autistic Living

I received the following email and I wanted to share it with you guys:

Good Morning environmentalbooty ,

National Autism Awareness month is now well under way!

During this time of economic crisis, now more than ever before our favorite autism charities are in need of your support. This is not a message to solicit funds for any single organization, rather to remind you that they are seeing the same financial issues that we are. No, they're not in danger of foreclosure, or being laid off, rather they are feeling the after effects of those types of things through a decline in donations.

So our request to you is a simple one. If you can spare $5 or $10, please proceed to the homepage of your favorite autism organization and donate whatever you can. If you cannot donate at this time that is fine too. The most important thing is to do what you can.

Don't forget that many autism organizations such as the Autism Society of America or Autism Speaks have mechanisms in place that allow you to raise money for them. If you don't have the money, but have the time, visit their sites today and see how you can help.

Whatever your passion might be I'm sure you will find a like-minded organization in need of your assistance. If you are having difficulty deciding on an organization to give to or raise money for, stop in the forum and ask. There are sure to be a few folks with some ideas for you.

Thank You,

Please visit Autistic Living.
