Alfalfa Sprouts Recalled Due to Possible Salmonella

Los Angeles Calco, Inc. Recalls Alfalfa Sprouts Because of Possible Salmonella Contamination (April 23).

Apparently, there has been possible alfalfa sprout seed contamination with salmonella. Thirty one people in 6 states have become ill after eating the sprouts. Do yourself a favor and stay away from them until we get more information.

Please check this blog for updates on this story in our FDA Recall section.

Odd how many salmonella outbreaks there have been. The poor FDA needs to get it's act together and get more inspectors out there.
