Coming Out of the Closet on Global Warming, Climate Change or Whatever They Are Calling It Today

I feel that it is finally time to come out of the closet, so to speak, on my thoughts about Global Warming in the hope that other eco-friendly types like me will begin to emerge from hiding as well.  There must be intelligent, greenies out there who have doubts about not only man being the cause of Global Warming/Climate Change or whatever it is being called today, but also doubts as to whether or not it is occurring as well.
"The claim … is that the temperature has changed from ~288.0 to ~288.8 degree Kelvin in about 150 years, which (if true) means to me is that the temperature has been amazingly stable, and both human health and happiness have definitely improved in this 'warming' period." - Nobel prize winner for physics in 1973 Dr. Ivar Giaever resigned as a Fellow from the American Physical Society (APS) on September 13, 2011 in disgust over the group's promotion of man-made global warming fears
Giaever also told the New York Times in 2010 that global warming “can't be discussed -- just like religion...there is NO unusual rise in the ocean level, so what where and what is the big problem?”

Yet when I look to NASA I am told,
"By any other name ... Whether referred to as "global warming" or "climate change," the consequences of the widescale changes currently being observed in Earth's climate system could be considerable" - NASA
Seriously NASA?  They could be considerable?

And what about those poor polar bears?
"With the recent new of global warning, and the statements that the polar bear is the first animal to become endangered because of global warming many people are wondering how many polar bears are there?  That is a question that the answer is still being researched.  No one really knows how many polar bears there are because they are hard to count, and at times hard to find." - EndangeredPolarBears.com
If we do not know how many polar bears there are, how do we know they are becoming extinct?

It has been hell for me to have to refuse requests for advertising, first from Clinton's camp and then from Al Gore's Climate Reality.  It has been hell for me to hide my questions about the reality of Global Warming/ Climate Change for fear of losing friends who I have come to respect and adore simply because I know they have no questions about the change (or lack thereof ) in the climate and are in fact, angered by questions about their position.

Still,  the number of people and scientists who are questioning the facts behind Global Warming/Climate Change is increasing.  Public perception of climate change has steadily fallen since late 2009. A Rasmussen Reports public opinion poll from August noted that 57 percent of adults believe there is significant disagreement within the scientific community on global warming, up five points from late 2009.

Look, when I first started blogging green, I had a website to sell carbon credits and I was certain we were all going to die with the knowledge that our children would not be able to save the planet from warming.  That was until I started really questioning the validity of the whole hot mess.  Now, I am just confused.

How about you?
