It's Monday and It's Time To Live a Little! Make a Connection and Find More Meaning

Join Us to Live a Little...
In case you missed it, for a few weeks I will be linking up with an amazing group of women bloggers from the Skimbaco community. We will be offering up ideas on finding fulfillment in life right now through the little things to make the most out of each and every day.

Have a blog? Love to have you link up and join us in this Live a Little blog hop!! Sometime this week, write a post about how you Live a Little, link up using the Linky at the end of this post, then get the code for the Linky and add it to your post.
"Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world." - Harriet Tubman

For a while now, I have been trying something different when I am out and about going through the busy motions of my days, and it has made me feel more connected to those around me.  Amazingly enough, it is actually pretty simple.  Yet each time I do it, I feel more loving, more powerful and find more meaning in my life.  Sounds pretty intriguing right?  Want to know what it is?

Quite simply, to make a connection and find more meaning in my life,  I have been looking people (strangers, friends, the checkout girl at CVS...) in the eye when I speak with (no to) them.

Have you tried this?  Do you do it all of the time?  I used to do it more when I was younger but as I have gotten older, and busier, I realized I had stopped.  If you don't make a regular practice of looking strangers in the eye when you speak with them, try it, then come back and tell me what your experience was.

Although the simplicity of looking someone in the eyes may devalue it's positive outcome, don't let it.  Try it, and I promise that you too will find more meaning in your life and share a connection with another human being that will lift your heart and fill you with purpose.
