I am really excited to be able to share with you how to go green, save money and reduce plastic waste with one of Oprah's favorite things and one of my favorite ways to live green, the SnackTaxi.  I remember watching Oprah's Earth Day special back in 2009 and I fell in love with the SnackTaxi she shared.  Oprah was all about finding ways to reduce our plastic waste as she had just found out about the Great Pacific Ocean Garbage Patch; a floating pool of  plastic garbage which is reported to be twice the size of Texas and detrimental to our environment and sea life.  Using the SnackTaxi will make you feel like you are doing something good for the planet, because you really are!

I don't know about you, but when packing my kid's lunches in the morning, it used to drive me crazy to use so many little Ziplock bags.  First, using plastic bags is like throwing money away.  Plus, I know about the Great Pacific Ocean Garbage patch and I always felt like I was not doing my part to reduce waste and set a good example for my kids.  Using the SnackTaxi helps me feel good, they wash up super nicely and they are really fun for my kids to use and show off to their friends. They are a perfect fit for sandwiches or snacks.
