My Week in Retrospect: Failure to Unplug and Safer Chemicals
Just looking at my week in retrospect makes me feel like unplugging for a while. As a matter of fact, I did unplug from Facebook last night but tonight I think I will actually go all the way. I usually do on Fridays. After all, tonight at sundown begins the National Day of Unplugging.
Now I am not going to say that I will actually totally unplug for an entire 24 hours when I am not at a spa, on vacation or sleeping. Well actually I do not unplug when I am sleeping. I actually check my phone at night for new messages. Still, I am going to have a funtastic Friday night away from the computer and I do hope you join me.
By the way, I just realized that I never filled you guys in on how my meeting went last Friday with Lindsay Dahl from Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families. I was kinda nervous to meet her but it went really great.
You know how there are some people you meet that you just feel like you have known forever? Well chatting with Lindsay, felt like chatting with an old friend. Through her work, Lindsay has accomplished so much for consumers in such a short time. And from what she tells me, it sounds like Safer Chemicals, Healthy Families has some great things in store for the coming year. More on that news to come later.
For now, just have a great night and an even better weekend. I will see you on Monday for another installment of our Live a Little series.
Sweet dreams...
XO - Shane
