A new report out from the the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE) is giving consumers an idea of where the most energy efficient cities are located throughout the United States. No big surprise that California shows up on the list right but a big WOOT for the mid-west and east coast as well.

The report ranks the cities on 5 key areas: local government, community, buildings, utilities, and transportation.
