Bloggers Unite for Hunger and Hope

Today all over the world, bloggers are uniting to fight world hunger by writing a special post to highlight this awful challenge for which we all share concern. I find myself being drawn to the hungry children and wonder how their parent's must feel being unable to provide this basic necessity for survival to those they love the most?

Terrorism, Swine Flu, Kid-snatching...we have so much to be concerned about that it sometimes is hard to take it all in. People sometimes just shut down and stop caring about anything at all. Is that you?

Please keep your heart open and think of all of the children, not just in third world countries, but here in the United States as well who have that awful hunger in their bellies. There are so many kids who go to school hungry and go to bed the same exact way in this plentiful country. What is that doing to their developing minds? How does hunger affect stress, learning and memory?

There are ways for you to help here in the Unites States
and elsewhere.

Please get involved and be thankful for the food you have on your table today.
