5 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Invest in Digital Marketing

Not Investing in Digital Marketing? Thinking of Cutting Your Online Advertising Budget? Here’s Why You Should Think Again.

In this day and age, there are a lot of products and services everybody claims you "need" to ensure your business succeeds.

To some, digital marketing is one of them. If you're one of those people that insist it's not needed, by all means, go right ahead ignoring it, though that would be to the detriment of your business.

To find out why, keep reading.

5 Reasons Not to Invest in Digital Marketing for Your Business

1. You Don't Want To Grow Your Business

If you are not interested in gaining market share or increasing revenue, digital marketing is not for you.

With digital marketing, the different ways to grow your business are seemingly endless. But you have to have a desire to grow.

There is blogging, SEO (which I'll touch more on later), geo-targeting, reviews to manage, and advertising opportunities just to name a few. Each digital tool is powerful by itself, but working together they can help exponentially expand your business.

Without these tools you may be doing okay, with their assistance, (and ours here at Shane Shirley Media) you'll be doing better than just alright.

2. You Don’t Want To Increase the Value of Your Business

The majority of the time, customers and consumers will do research on products, services, and companies before actually buying the product or working with the company.

By investing in digital marketing and a website Google loves, you're increasing the value of your business

The same goes for building your online presence, especially if you're aiming at building your long-term value.

Digital marketing is one of the most cost-effective ways to go about it.

3.  You Want To Turn Away Customers With a Bad Website

Obviously, you never want to turn potential customers away. Your website is like your smile when you first introduce yourself to someone, or perhaps like a handshake. It matters.

Your website may be a potential customer's first impression of you and your business, and you want it to be a good one. In order to do this, you have to go through the means of building a really great website. And a great website is not just one that looks great but also functions in a way that Google and other search engines will respond positively to.

Our team has built over 10,000 websites so we know what works and what doesn't to increase leads online.

Even if you're a startup and already have a website, it could probably be better. This means having a clean, fast, and easy-to-navigate site.

Even if you get most of your business through referrals and therefore don't think you need a great website to attract customers. It's just not true. As you get referred to more and more, before contacting you, potential clients are probably looking you up and seeing your website.

Moral of the story? First impressions matter.

4. You Want To Close Your Doors Next Year

As harsh as it may seem, neglecting your digital presence can be disastrous for your business.

If you aren't getting recognition for your business through referrals or through other means, then it seems like digital marketing may be your saving grace.

Reaching your target audience is cost-effective, (not to mention simple and easy for the experts), and could be the best choice you make to save your business.

5. You Have No Idea What Search Engine Optimization Is

If you don't know what Search Engine Optimization is (or SEO, as we call it), you, unfortunately, aren't alone.

SEO is the process of bringing more website traffic to your website that is targeted to your business. SEO specifically goes after "organic" traffic, which is essentially free traffic Google will send you if they like your online presence.

As useful as SEO is, it can be difficult to learn how to utilize and make the most of. If this sounds like you, allow us at Shane Shirley Media to help you out!

  9. I respectfully disagree, even if I can see where you're coming from with these arguments. I can't ignore the potential advantages of digital marketing since I have personally experienced its revolutionary impact. In the current digital era, firms must be visible online in order to succeed. Ignoring digital marketing could cost you many chances to expand your audience and spur development. Additionally, as more and more companies are providing online assignment writing services, digital marketing presents a useful way to connect with both educators and students. The key to making the most of this constantly changing environment is to adopt the appropriate tactics and platforms.
